Arsenal manager Miguel Arteta has confirmed Gabriel Jesus can partner Kai Havertz up front after his Carabao Cup hat-trick.

With Jesus’ excellent form, many are cheering for him to have a chance to play as a starter. Which is his position as a center forward. Where Kai Havertz is usually the main player used regularly.

Arteta has confirmed the pair can play together. But has not said whether it will be a two-forward or if one of them needs to be deployed elsewhere.

“It’s possible. With the players we have and the connections we can build. I think it’s definitely possible to play like that.”

Meanwhile, Sevilla are reportedly looking to lower the option-to-buy fee they have in place with Arsenal for loanee Albert Sambi Lokonga.
